Show online quotations, invoices and order confirmations to your customers with Joomla Business Applications CRM. 

There are many benefits for showing quotations, invoices and orders online.
These items, if shown online, are styled in the layout of your corporate identity.
Attachments that support your quotation are shown as named elements (with links.)
An integrated part of your proposal and a description are other attachments in an email.
Furthermore, the customer can confirm the quotation online. Making this is a closed sales cycle.
The online quotation will have a fixed time it will be available, the timeframe will be set once in the general settings.

Instead of an email filled with attachments the customer will receive an email with a text and a link to the temporary URL for the quotation.

The customer can download the quotation, order confirmation or invoice as pdf, and all attached documents from the website.
The customer will approve digital,l so no signature (print scan or copy past fake is needed.

Another advantage is: less files are send, so this is very good for the environment.
All the documents of the customer are archived for your customer.
They can always look at their specific documents.

To promote your product(s), you make phone calls to your prospects. You want to send your digital version of the company/ product brochure to prospects that would like to receive more information. After finishing the conversation with an interested prospect, you start composing an email with a catchy text to support the brochure you want to send. So far so good but for a lot of companies this stills means: opening your email, copying the text into the email-editor, adjust it a little bit, don't forget adding the brochure, and completing this by sending the email.

In this workflow you have to options: 1. Sending an email after every call, and repeat the actions of copying, attaching and sending it, or 2. you gather all the addresses and names while calling and send them by the end of the day. In which case, after talking to many people, the personal part of the note is probably long forgotten. Both situations are not very effective. Either you disrupt the process of calling or you miss the personal touch in your writing. 

To overcome these issues we have developed a method to send brochures with a personalized email text directly from JBA CRM! It works likes this: In the CRM you change the contacts status to ‘New lead’. While saving the contact details a pop-up will appear with a template text including labels with the customer name, your signature and a brochure attached to it. You can make some (personalized) changes to the text and click on send.

We think it's an easy choice, one click or 3 to 4 minutes working on an email instead of talking to prospects...

JBA CRM version 0.12.1 has a plugin for the Joomla newsletter-component Acymailing.
Like JBA CRM the Acymailing Joomla application operates directly from the website and therefore it is very easy to send newsletters with website content.

It's important for your business to send newsletters to your customers and to check if a customer is subscribed to the newsletter.
Because of the integration between Acymailing and JBA CRM it is possible to save a lot of time

and to give your customers a good "customer experience".

In the newsletter you can refer to Joomla articles in which you integrate your Catalogue products. Therefore, besides of all the advantages of a sending a newsletter from your website, you also save a lot of time because of the integration between the newsletter and the articles. If you make adjustments in the content, then the adjustment will also be available in the other elements. So you don't have to adjust the changes in multiple components; the benefits of Single Point of Information.

Last but not least: it's very easy to track and trace the reading behavior of the customers.

To summarize JBA CRM:
1. The management of relationships/newsletters becomes easy
2. The CRM user saves a lot of time while informing customers about their products
3. Contacts and Leads can be connected to one or more newsletters with one click
4. In the contact details the newsletters can be managed

TAR stands for Tasks, Actions and Reminders (TAR) 

It is a new component for JBA CRM and it will save you and/or JBA CRM users a lot of work. With this new component a CRM-user can manage the workflows and running processes within the company to improve efficiency and achieve a better customer experience.

TAR is a collection of the smallest identifiable and essential pieces of a process that serve as a unit of work, and as an instrument to make a difference between various elements of a process.

The elements are:

  • TASK is the element that will block time or add a deadline to an action(s). 
  • ACTION is depending on the conditions (the criteria rules) that TAR will automatically or semi-automatically run as an action.
  • REMINDER is a notification to remind that something is not done or needs to be done. And because of the reminders that will be send to users, their lives will be easier!
  • WORKFLOWRULES gathers all the TAR elements, here they can be configured and stored. WORFLOWRULES gives an easy structure to managing the process.

TAR example:

You want to send a quotation to a customer. With T.A.R. you can make sure that you (or one of your employees) receives a reminder to make sure there will be a follow-up after sending the quotation. Beside that you will be able to plan to call customer as a task or you can combine a task with a reminder.

In WorkflowRules you:

  1. Configure a reminder that will be send to employees
  2. Create an action, a task and a reminder to make sure the employee is reminded to call the customer about the quotation.

In the Task module or notification pop-up the employee will be reminded with a hotlink to the actual Quotation and Contact to call. 
Other use of TAR could include an API to have a external (industrial IOT) trigger start a proces in the CRM, like ordering products.

A Toolbox

T.A.R. is a toolbox of which the possibilities are endless. But even more important is that it is simple to use T.A.R. by using the synoptic WorkflowRules (a part of T.A.R.)

With this first version of TAR we have focused on automating the CRM. In the following versions we will include automation for the JBA Extensions like Agenda, Notes, Reports and Online Shop.

JBA Reports using Google Charts

Google Charts provides a complete library for Graphs and Charts. Now Joomla Business Applications will use this library in JBA Reports for several reasons:

  • It is very simple to implement and maintain
  • Many different graph shapes and settings possible, legenda etc.
  • Responsive display
  • Each chart can be easily adjusted based on the data set

This allows a user to convert a pie-chart to a beam-chart for example. These settings will be saved with the customized report.

JBA Reports is the default reporting function for all Joomla Business Applications. Besides a fast growing set of default reports it's structure makes it possible to provide custom reports for each customer in every JBA-component. JBA reports will be managed from the Joomla backend. The ‘discover’ feature adds new reports to the (backend) listview and the administrator can decide which reports will be made available for the JBA frontend users.

This last couple of days we have been meeting with people of the Joomla! community sharing our thoughts on building a CRM based on Joomla. The CRM should be the fundament to build solutions on that can include all kind of other applications or bundled applications. The Solutions can be bundled to vertical products offering a company a Single Point Of Information build on Joomla components in a Joomla website. As BizzXL has been building these components for it's Saas solutions since 2009 it seems like a logical step to use this knowledge and experience for non-Saas solution. Dinsdag 24 maart at Houten, The Netherlands Jan Mol, Walter Bakx and Wilko Rietveld signed an agreement for use of the OnlineDossier by Mentorschap Nehterlands. The online Doisser is redisgned for the Mentorschap (Guardian) purpose. The webbased solution will include different user roles and right for users from differtent independent districts to archive and monnitor the progress of there clients. With the new system Mentorschap will be working inline with the regulations of the Dutch goverment and department of Justice.
